The Bugaboo Cameleon is one of our most popular pushchair combinations for many reasons. It features a proper carrycot that is suitable for baby to sleep in overnight or during the day (Aerosleep mattress is included inside), it easily clips on and off the chassis and is lightweight for easy transportation. Once baby is older (approx 5 months) then the carrycot comes off the frame and the pushchair seat unit fits into place. As the pushchair it has a 3 position seat unit that can face both ways either facing or facing away from the person pushing the pushchair. The chassis features an adjustable handle that accommodates even the tallest customer it also is reversible and can flip over so that the larger wheels are at the front for ease over rougher terrain. Once back on to "smoother" footpaths then the handle will go back over to leave the smaller swivel wheels at the front for manouverability. The frame is lightweight aluminium coming in at only 9kg with the seat attached. The front swivel wheels have an adjustable suspension. The fabrics come in 6 base colours for the seat and carrycot body and a choice of 9 canvas top fabrics. The top fabrics consist of the hood and apron for the carrycot and a seat back cover for the seat unit. (the hood can be used on both the carrycot and on the pushchair). The Cameleon also comes as standard with a raincover, insect net and underneath storage bag. The brake is controlled from a lever on the handle so its always at hand. Many accessories are available to go with the Cameleon including car seat clips so the Maxi Cosi Cabrio, Cabriofix and Citi car seats can be easily clicked onto the chassis. For comfort and ease a padded fleece lined microfibre Footmuff , a co-ordinating Pram Bag changer (daiper bag) and Parasol are also available. For those who travel a padded travel bag to safely transport your Bugaboo and if you already have a toddler then a Wheeled Board will fit on the back "Buggyboard" style for the little one to stand on. Also a denim version is now available to order at an additional cost . This new version has several changes over the original as it now features foam filled rear wheels (that cannot puncture) and an easier handle adjustment mechanism (clamp as opposed to a wing nut).
