The Jane Exo is a group 1 car seat using the Universal Isofix system, this means that it uses the 2 Isofix points in the car seat base and a top tether fixing located in most cars. This top tether point has to be present for this car seat to be used using Isofix, if not then it can be used as a Semi-Universal seat using the Support Leg that is available as an added extra. The Exo features several unique attributes including the Pneumatic Absorption System (PAS), a shock absorber system using a pneumatic piston, an Electronic Warning System (EWS) is used to assure the correct installation of the car seat, also an easy one pull harness system which applies the tension to the harness and crotch strap equally across the child. Five reclining positions for greater comfort to the baby, soft fabrics, an easily adjustable head pad and soft crotch and shoulder harness protectors.
