A great addition to the Mountain Buggy range of pushchairs, the Terrain is a very versatile 3 wheeler that is easy to control and maneuver over all kinds of terrain, and features larger wheels and unique locking position for the front wheel making it ideal for jogging.The Terrain is suitable for newborns, infants and also toddlers via the adjustable seat position from upright to fully reclined for newborn babies. The Terrain is travel system compatible, and can also include a carrycot ( Urban Jungle model available separately). Assisted by 16" tyres and rear suspension, this solid 3 wheeler provides a super ride as well as allowing the front wheel to swivel for easy control (or lock for extra stability), and a 2 step easy fold mechanism with quick release wheels allows the pushchair to fold up neatly. There is a foot brake and a multi adjustable handle as well as a gear tray to store up to 5kgs. The fabrics are hard wearing, water repellent and durable and can be removed easily to get washed. The 2011 model includes a detachable bumper bar as well as a bottle holder.
The design of the Mountain Buggy Terrain buggy allows use from newborn to approximately 5 years of age, with a maximum seat load of 35kgs (or 77lbs). It weighs approximately 13kgs (29lbs) and has a width of 63 cm (or 25 inches). The handlebar height is between 86 and 118cm and the fold height / depth are 109cm/ 39cm respectively (or 43 inches / 15 inches).
