BeSafe iZi Kid beltfit Version X3 is a new seat to the UK and is based on the popular iZi Combi beltfit but without the option of fitting it forward facing. The new version features improved side impact protection for the child with the introduction of a new head support pad, this pad also increases the length of the backrest and as such increases the useable height for the child in the seat. The seat has been designed with a completely new belt system that reduces the impact on the child if a collision should occur, with a considerable improvement in safety. This seat has just won a Best Buy Award from Which magazine - June 2011.

Besides side impact protection in energy-absorbent material, BeSafe iZi Kid beltfit uses the car seat belt to install into the car along with a pair of tether straps that attach to the front seat of the car. The seat is approved (ECE R44-04) for use facing backwards from 0-18kg. The seat features a five position recline feature so it is equally comfortable from birth as it is with a bigger toddler.
