BRIO Zento can be fitted rear-facing for children 0-25 kg using the car’s two-point or three-point seatbelt and the tether strap, which is included. As a forward-facing child safety seat, BRIO Zento is fitted using the car’s three-point seatbelt. Children who weigh 15-18 kg are restrained with the integral safety harness. When BRIO Zento is used as a booster seat for children(forward facing) who weigh 15-25 kg, the seat and child are both restrained with the car’s three-point seatbelt. Use BRIO Zento only in car passenger seats that are not fitted with active airbags. All parts of BRIO Zento are integrated. The child safety seat has an integral five-point harness that can be easily attached and detached with one hand and is adjustable to four heights to fit the child’s size. The integral harness has soft, padded shoulder straps that are rubber-coated on the back to ensure good fit. There is an adjustable flap at the foot. When the flap is folded out, the seat inclines somewhat more, which is suitable for smaller children. When the flap is folded in, the seat position is more upright. The rubber-coated base blocks ensure the BRIO Zento stays in a stable position on the passenger seat. The BRIO Zento was designed to give both the child and the driver a good view. The cover is removable and washable.                                                

Rear-facing child safety seats are much safer and we strongly recommend that children ride in rear-facing child safety seats for as long as possible. BRIO Zento meets both the latest ECE standard, ECE R44 Rev04, and the requirements for Swedish T approval. It can be used rearward facing upto 18kg but then turns round to be forward facing upto 25kg.
