The Sleep Tight Baby Bed is what parents have been waiting up for! Purflo have used 20 years of experience in breathable technology to create a total game changer - the very first baby bed of its kind to be safe for independent, overnight sleep.
The bed features a fully breathable mesh base and sides which allow air to safely circulate, so baby can breathe easily and stay at a safe temperature all night. The raised sides have just a little bit of squidge - they are firm enough to prevent a little face pushing into them, but cosy enough to give baby sensory feedback and a feeling of being held, helping them to sleep for longer. The super safe sides are made using a sustainably sourced fibre, Dupont™ Sorona® that is made from 37% plant based ingredients and is Oeko-Tex® 100 Class 1 Certified. Purflo found a glue that is non-toxic, safe for babies and the environment and that withstands daily use, is totally safe and awesome for the environment. If you take off the covers of your Sleep Tight Baby Bed you might see a little of this glue in the inner construction - as it doesn't contain bleach and harmful chemicals it is a natural sand colour.
With safer sleep guidelines in mind, the Sleep Tight Baby Bed has been designed with a firm, flat mattress suitable from birth. It’s also fully washable, portable, and comes with a handy travel bag so that you can support your baby’s sleep routine wherever you go!

Is the Sleep Tight Baby Bed safe for overnight sleep?
The Sleep Tight Baby Bed was designed as a safe place for babies to sleep overnight and during naps, and has undergone extensive product safety testing with this in mind.
As with any new Purflo baby product, advice was sought from two independent UKAS accredited test houses to determine the most appropriate testing. As with all new to market innovations there is no one safety standard which fits the Sleep Tight Bed, so it has been tested to relevant aspects of existing safety standards for similar sleep products.
Our technical experts worked with independent UK-based laboratories to put the Sleep Tight Bed through a comprehensive risk assessment for everyday use and overnight sleep and exhaustive safety testing.
● BS4578:1970 – Airflow safety test – PASS due to the clever foam inside the side walls
● BS5852 – Flammability and chemical test – PASS due to the materials used which have naturally low flammability and are safe for sensitive baby skin.
● BSEN 1466 – Tested to relevant parts of the carrycot standard that enable its safe use overnight including:
Rigidity of side walls – PASS due to structured side walls preventing suffocation hazard and overheating
Retention of side walls/ roll test – PASS conclusive that infant will remain safely inside the product and could not roll out
Note: There are aspects of the carrycot standard, such as handles, which are not relevant to this product, so have not been tested.
The product has undergone a comprehensive risk assessment and extensive, exhaustive safety testing relevant to marketing it as suitable for overnight use. There are no other existing safety tests relevant to a product of this type that we can put it through, or we already would have!

WARNING: Do not use for overnight and/or supervised use once a child can sit or kneel or pull itself up.
WARNING: Place the product on a firm entirely flat and stable surface. The baby bed should never be used on counter-tops, table tops , near steps or on an elevated surface.
WARNING: Do not let other children play unattended nearby and ensure the pocket that holds the base is free from objects and lies completely flat. WARNING: Ensure your baby does not overheat - check the temperature of your baby and the room and ensure that your baby is dressed appropriately. WARNING: Keep pillows and other soft objects such as stuffed toys out of the infants sleeping/ resting environment.
WARNING: Stop using the bed when your baby has outgrown the product. WARNING: CARELESSNESS CAUSES FIRE Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat. All covers and fillings have been tested to ensure compliance with the revelant ignitability tests. Always use in a child safe environment. Always place your baby to sleep on their back in the feet to foot position. Do not lift, carry or transport the baby whilst in the bed. Do not use the product if you can see any signs of damage. Keep the firm base inserted during use to maintain structure and keep baby safe whilst sleeping.

Highlands & Islands postage charges are from £25 per parcel/ box upto 20kg. Northern Ireland is classed as Overseas by our carriers and is charged accordingly. Smaller items that can be posted by Royal Mail will subject to the standard postage charges for Mainland UK.

Orders can sometimes be upgraded and processed quicker as a priority if an additional postage service is applied to your order. This can be done be getting in touch via phone or email and advising us of your order number. The cut-off time for premium services would usually be by 12:00 noon on the day of the order. PLEASE NOTE for deliveries on Saturday, Sunday or Monday the cut off time is 12.00 noon on the Friday before. The carriers deliver over a weekend but do not make collections. We cannot guarantee that any postage upgrades can be made, however we can offer the following premium services:

Postage dependant on size and weight of box. Charges quoted are for a box upto a size of (80cm x 60cm x 50cm) and upto 20kg in weight. Excess charges will apply to multiple boxes or boxes with a gross or volumetric weight over 20kg or of a larger size. Exact price of shipping will be emailed to you before dispatch, once we have your agreement by email for the shipping charge we will dispatch your goods and charge your payment card accordingly. For higher value items an excess insurance charge maybe payable of approx £7.

The checkout will automatically charge the set amount for your country however if there is a change in the charged carriage rate we will confirm the postage charge to you before dispatch and before charging (or refunding) your card with any additional charge or refund. You will also be advised of a tracking number and of the carrier used. In most cases we will use either DPD Local or TNT for deliveries, smaller items may be sent by Royal Mail, possibly as a Signed For delivery service too.
Returns
RIGHT TO CANCEL
You have the right to cancel this agreement but this right ends 14 days after the date we deliver the products to you in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Any amounts you have been charged will be repaid to you by way of credit to your account within 14 days. However we may have delivered or dispatched the products you have ordered. In this circumstance, you may return the products to us at your own expense; in most cases this will be most cost effective if arranged by yourself. For bulky items this can be arranged by one our advisors and will incur an uplift/ third party collection charge this will be deducted off any refund due to yourself. The charge for this collection is £30 per consignment upto a total gross weight of 10kg and then 30p per kilo above 10kg. For any goods returned you are advised to return the items using a signed for delivery means as the goods are your responsibility until delivered back to our address. As long as the item is unused and in a resaleable condition we are able to offer an exchange or refund. We recommend that you return any goods in their original packaging to avoid any damage that may occur in transit (please note the goods remain your responsibility until they are returned to us). Please ensure when returning goods a note is enclosed with your order number, address, surname and reason for return so we can process as quickly as possible and please ensure that your return is securely boxed. You have 14 days to exercise your right to cancel and 14days to return the goods from the day of cancellation. PLEASE NOTE goods returned outside this timescale will not be accepted for return. Please note for hygiene reasons mattresses, nappies, bedding and feeding products and other items of a personal nature cannot be returned once opened unless faulty. FAULTY GOODS
In the case of faulty products, we will repair and return the item as soon as possible (depending on availability of spare parts). If we are unable to repair, a replacement will be offered. If we are unable to replace we will refund your money, provided the instructions governing the use of the products have been followed and there has been no misuse. Any items being returned for refund must be returned complete including all accessories. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
