DELIVERY TERMS

PLEASE NOTE THAT OVERSEAS POSTAGE TO EUROPE IS OFFERED, BUT THERE ARE DELAYS AND HOLD UPS WITH THE COURIERS AND WE CANNOT CONFIRM DELIVERY TIMES AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME!

UK POSTAGE

Orders under £75 attract a £5.95 postage and packing charge for Mainland UK excl. Highlands. Northern Ireland and offshore islands are excluded from the term Mainland UK.
All orders over £75 are postage free for Mainland UK excl. Highlands.
Highlands & Islands postage charges are from £25 per parcel/ box up-to 20kg. Northern Ireland is classed as Overseas by our carriers and is charged accordingly.
Smaller items that can be posted by Royal Mail will subject to the standard postage charges for Mainland UK.

We usually tend to send out via our courier DPD, and parcels are sent on a next day service throughout mainland UK (where possible). We also use FedEx and other carriers depending on the goods ordered.


UK PREMIUM SERVICE

Orders can sometimes be upgraded and processed quicker as a priority if an additional postage service is applied to your order. This can be done be getting in touch via phone or email and advising us of your order number. The cut-off time for premium services would usually be by 12:00 noon on the day of the order. PLEASE NOTE for deliveries on Saturday, Sunday or Monday the cut off time is 12.00 noon on the Friday before. The carriers deliver over a weekend but do not make collections. We cannot guarantee that any postage upgrades can be made, however we can offer the following premium services:

  • NEXT DAY BY 10:30AM - £30
  • NEXT DAY BY 12:00PM - £20
  • SATURDAY DELIVERY - £25
  • SUNDAY DELIVERY - £25

OVERSEAS POSTAGE

Postage is dependent upon size and weight of box. Charges quoted are for a box up-to a size of (80cm x 60cm x 50cm) and upto 20kg in weight. Excess charges will apply to multiple boxes or boxes with a gross or volumetric weight over 20kg or of a larger size. Exact price of shipping will be emailed to you before dispatch, once we have your agreement by email for the shipping charge we will dispatch your goods and charge your payment card accordingly. For higher value items an excess insurance charge maybe payable of approx £7 or 10% depending on the carrier used.
PLEASE NOTE for deliveries outside the UK any customs or import duties charged by the destination country must be paid for by the customer. We have no control over these charges, and paulstride.co.uk cannot be held liable. Customs policies vary depending on the Country. If you require further information, contact your local customs office. Once the parcels arrive in the destination country the International Carrier (DPD, FedEx or TNT usually) will contact you for payment of import duty and and local value added tax due on the items.

The checkout will automatically charge the set amount for your country however if there is a change in the charged carriage rate we will confirm the postage charge to you before dispatch and before charging (or refunding) your card with any additional charge or refund. You will also be advised of a tracking number by text (if a mobile number has been supplied) or e-mail and of the carrier used. In the case of DPD/ DPD Local you will be notified once the consignment is in transit and then on the morning of delivery of a 1 hour time slot the delivery is expected to be completed. If you find that this time is not convenient then please contact DPD through the text or email and an option to leave in a safe place or re-arrange delivery date or collect from depot or pick-up shop will also be offered. In most cases we will use either DPD Local or FedEx for UK or DPD, FedEx or other carriers for the most cost effective deliveries overseas depending on location, smaller items may be sent by Royal Mail/ Parcelforce, possibly as a Signed For delivery service too.

WE CAN SHIP INTERNATIONALLY, BUT OFTEN IT IS EASIER TO OFFER A SHIPPING RATE DEPENDENT UPON THE ITEM(S) BEING ORDERED AND THE DESITINATION COUNTRY TOO.

IT MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE TO SEND SMALLER ITEMS OUT VIA ROYAL MAIL INTERNATIONAL POST, BUT PLEASE ARRANGE THIS PRIOR TO ORDERING WHERE POSSIBLE PLEASE.

PLEASE NOTE :- Selected items or Manufacturers ranges are NOT available for shipping outside of the UK. In this instance the delivery address will be rejected and the sale will not proceed to the checkout.

PACKAGING
At Paul Stride we operate a recycling policy and often re-use original packaging to ship brands or products that are different to those that appear on the original box. If you receive a package that has a different brand or product on the box other than you are expecting, please open the box to determine if the product is incorrect. Often items delivered to us directly from manufacturers are in multi packs with more than one item in a box, in these cases the items will be split and boxed in other manufacturer boxes ready for shipping. Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items in with larger items - please double check the contents of the box. Opening your order does not affect any returns.
